Passionate about Photography

When I first got interested in cameras it was to solve one very simple problem. My wife and I wanted better pictures at the numerous weddings, reunions, and family functions we were attending. So I upgraded from my little Powershot A40 to the fantastic Canon Pro1 with the 420EX speedlight which made some brilliant images for a mostly point and shoot camera. After a few weddings as a guest where the couples preferred my images to their own photographers, I started getting some recommendations.

For our first paid wedding we decided to start investing in some more professional equipment, including the EOS 20D some fast lenses and better speedlights. This learning journey has significantly improved our images from the early days, and now we can get reliably great photographs in almost any situation. Since then we also had our first child Sophie, and with an always available and willing model we've gotten even more experience taking photos nearly every day. We've also built ourselves a fairly portable studio system that lets us take more controlled and interesting photos. And the rest is history.

We usually shoot all day events and portraits. For every shoot we provide a fully edited copy of the digital images on disk for your personal reproduction, and offer discount online ordering (15 cents for a 4x6). Our rates are affordable and up front with no surprises.

We can also do small product photography, pets, and on-site portraiture. We both have very rewarding full time jobs outside of our photography so please contact us as far in advance as possible for scheduling or availability.
